The Magic of Mind (Mielentaikaa) – Yoga retreat at Pistohiekka Resort, Puumala , Finland in August 2026 This is one of our yoga retreats in the middle of Finnish Lake area by Lake Saimaa in East Finland.

You will be staying in the middle of forest, next to lake Saimaa (www.pistohiekka.fi). Your yoga classes will be hold either in the main building with the view towards lake or even outside in the forest by the beach. The yoga level is both beginners and intermediate.

 Eeva-Liisa Bonet (www.mielentaikaa.fi) is your yoga teacher and the retreat leader. She has E-RYT200 and RYT500 as qualifications and she has been teaching yoga over ten years. She is using her wide knowledge of education and anatomy as well as kind and positive way to compliment all her students wherever she is teaching. Her voice has a sound of relaxation and it’s more than common to fall almost sleep during her yin and sound bowl sessions.

 OTHER ACTIVITIES There is a possibility to go swimming, rent and paddle kayak, rent a SUP-board, take a taxi to the village center, www.puumala.fi , or choose some other activities during the day. You may have a go with SUP-yoga as well, if you want to. Or maybe you want to have a sound bowl treatment? There is also time for yourself: read, sleep, write, go for a walk into the forest or just be and enjoy the time going by.
